Well Hello there…
First let me welcome you to the dumpster fire of my mind.
My name is Tony Donato (aka Forkboy)
I’ve been looking for a way to empty my thoughts (like the pensieve from Harry Potter) and had this domain called Wicked Label just sitting around, so I decided to use it to explore MY beliefs in Common Sense (hence the heading Common Sense is a Wicked Label). When I was looking how to use the two things together I read an article about common sense at Psychology Today’s website called “Common Sense Is Neither Common nor Sense” and then I decided I might as well call my thoughts of common sense as being labeled wicked. Hey it’s my take on what I read, deal with it.
I will start this adventure by stating the following…
- I hold no Religious affiliation. Call me an Atheist, an Agnostic, call me a Heathen. Whatever floats your boat. I don’t really care. I love nicknames and hate labels, so draw your own conclusions.
- I am a Husband, a Father, a Son, a Brother and a self proclaimed wise-ass. I allow NO ONE to change my opinion but myself. So save your breath. I will however listen to others opinions and respect them for sticking to their beliefs. I just ask for the same.
- I was born into this world in the great state of Texas but I have lived and grown in a lot of different places such as Georgia, New York, Arizona, Florida, New Jersey (all by the age of 14) and now Pennsylvania.
- For all the faults this great country has, I am proud to be an American! If having pride in your country bothers you, you may want to stop reading this blog now. Just fair warning.
- I consider myself a blue-collar worker. I have been working for a supermarket for 25+ years and counting. I also do web-design and freelance graphic design. I have a art background and a passion for art in all forms.
- I’m extremely into Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Horror and Comedy. Be prepared for references to all in my posts.
Now that we’ve gotten all that out of the way, please try to enjoy listening to my rants and thoughts.
